Plant Description

A pungent herb with flat, toothed edge foliage. Resembles Italian parsley, the seed of this plant is referred to as coriander.

Cultivation

Plant in full sun in rich, well drained soil. Plant grows 18″-24″ in height.

How to Harvest

Cut leaves or whole stalks as needed. Use young leaves as older leaves get a stronger often disagreeable flavour. When leaves turn brown towards end of summer cut plant and dry.

Uses

A popular addition to hot, spicy foods. Use fresh leaves in salads, salsa, marinades, pesto, sauces, fish, and curries. Roots are used in Asian soups and meat dishes.
