Featured Ingredient

Mint Rosemary

This is a fantastic combination of fresh herbs and cucumber slices “marinated” in water!  It makes for a wonderful presentation in a clear pitcher, wine carafe, or better yet a rustic looking mason jar!

Creating an “Herbal Water” is a perfect way to dress up water for any occasion and will make sometimes nasty tasting city water a thing of the past.

6 cups chilled water or 6 cups mineral water
12 slices unpeeled cucumbers (thin slices)
4 sliced lemons (thin slices)
4 sprigs fresh mint, 2 inches long, slightly crushed
2 sprigs fresh rosemary, 2 inches long, slightly crushed

Combine all ingredients in a 2 to 2 1/2 quart pitcher, cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours, but preferably 6 to 8 hours.

Ice cubes may be added just before serving.

Note*  Get creative! Add your favourite berries and Berries and Cream Mint…or Strawberries and Chocolate Mint!

The combinations are endless!
